A Lancaster County man has been charged with distributing child pornography over the Internet.
Richard Moyer Jr., 53, of Denver, was sharing media files containing suspected child pornography on a peer-to-peer network, according to a criminal complaint.
Agents with the state attorney general’s office allegedly downloaded one file that depicted children engaged in graphic sexual acts and traced it to Moyer’s home computer.
Authorities also seized a desktop computer containing suspected child pornography from Moyer’s home, the complaint states.
Moyer was arrested Tuesday on 15 counts of possession of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
His bail at Lancaster County Prison was set at $75,000.
