2 dead after crash on Route 325

Two women died after a head-on crash this morning on Route 325 in northern Dauphin County.

Jennifer Dido, 23, of Harrisburg, crossed the center line and drove into the path of an oncoming pickup truck in Rush Township around 7:20 a.m., state police in Lykens said.

Police said Dido died en route to a hospital. Her passenger, 52-year-old Anne Dido of Harrisburg, died at the scene.

The pickup driver, 44-year-old Daniel Galbraith of Tower City, was transported to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries, police said.

Route 325, locally known as Clarks Valley Road, was closed in both directions. Traffic was rerouted for about three hours.
