Two armed robberies in Harrisburg this week appear to be the work of the same criminal, according to city police.

Investigators believe the man robbed the Family Dollar at 400 South Cameron Street on Sunday night and the Rite-Aid at 1941 Derry Street on Monday afternoon.

In each incident, the robber approached the clerk with a knife and demanded money before fleeing on a gray bicycle.

Both clerks said the man was in his 40’s or 50’s and was wearing a blue pullover shirt, sunglasses, and a Kangol-brand beret-style hat.

One clerk said the bike had a bright green water bottle.
