Teen injured in hit-and-run crash on stolen dirt bike

Charges are pending in a hit-and-run crash involving a York teenager and a stolen off-road motorcycle, according to police.

Northern York County Regional police said the 17-year-old boy struck a vehicle occupied by a 40-year-old man and his 8-year-old son Thursday night on Greenbriar Road at Brandywine Lane in Manchester Township.

The man and his son were not injured.

The dirt bike rider was driven from the scene in an unknown vehicle, police said.

The dirt bike was found to have been stolen in York, and the teen rider was discovered a short time later in the York Hospital emergency room where he was treated for severe leg injuries, police said.
