U.S. Marshals arrest sex offender in York

U.S. Marshals arrested Juan Manuel Feliciano Sr. today in York after he failed to maintain his sex offender registration requirements.

Feliciano was registered as a sex offender in December 2002.

As part of an effort called, “Operation Safety Net” Deputy Marshals and members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force made an unannounced visit to Feliciano’s registered home address on West Jackson Street in York. They found that he didn’t live at that address.

The information was forwarded to York City Police Department who obtained an arrest warrant charging Feliciano with failing to maintain his sex offender registration.

He was arrested without incident around 9:30 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of Butterfly Commons Road in York.

Feliciano was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Central Booking Unit to await his initial appearance before a Magisterial District Justice.
