Police: heroin deal led to chase, charges

Police in York County said they arrested three people in connection with a bizarre drug deal and chase.

West York Borough police said it started with a heroin transaction between people in two cars, which then turned into a robbery and assault.

Police said the two drivers began chasing and ramming one another while driving 50 miles per hour through borough streets and intersections, until they finally crashed.

Officers said that’s when one of the drivers took off running.

Police said they eventually arrested both drivers and a passenger. They have not released any names.
