Harrisburg Bureau of Fire awarded $100K grant

The Harrisburg Bureau of Fire has been awarded $114,840 in grant money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Over the next year, the money will fund advanced training and education of firefighters and fire officers in the Bureau.

Firefighters and fire officers will attend classes that provide advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities in areas such as technical rescue, nationally certified fire officer, and firefighter safety programs.
