Carlisle man indicted for child sexual abuse, pornography

A federal grand jury in Harrisburg has indicted a man who was living at the Army War College in Carlisle when he arrested last month on child sexual abuse charges.

Zackary Adam Knight, 19, of Carlisle, was charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a minor, production of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney Peter Smith.

The indictment alleges Knight committed the crimes at the Army War College.

He is a family member of an Army War College student and was living with his family in student housing when he was taken into custody May 9.

If convicted of all charges, Knight faces up to life in prison and up to $1 million in fines, Smith said.
