Police charge teens for horseplay with pellet gun

Police said they filed charges against two 14-year-old Lancaster boys who were playing with a pellet gun in shopping center parking lot.

Manheim Township police said officers responded to the Manor Shopping Center in the 1200 block of Millersville Pike after they received a report Thursday night that a robbery was happening in the parking lot and the victim had a gun to his head.

Arriving officers took the teens into custody and recovered an Airsoft gun in the waistband of one of the boys.

Police said the youths were friends who were horseplaying, but each was charged with disorderly conduct and released to their parents.
