A Hummelstown man has been arrested on allegations he had inappropriate contact with a 12-year-old girl.
Jonathan Madeira, 27, between June and November of 2013, promised to reward the girl with gifts at various times for undergoing “challenges” that were deemed inappropriate, deviate or sexually suggestive in nature, Derry Township police said in a news release Friday.
Police said Madeira was not related to the girl.
He was arrested Tuesday and charged with three counts of indecent assault, three counts of unlawful contact with a minor, and one count of corruption of minors.
He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
