A Chambersburg woman is facing charges in connection with a pedestrian crash where police say she hit and critically injured a golfer at a Greene Township golf course and left the scene.

Stephanie Ann Osterman, 31, struck 75-year-old Roy E. Rife at the intersection of Coffey Avenue and Opportunity Avenue, near the Rocky Spring Golf Course, just after 9 a.m. Thursday, state police in Chambersburg said.

Rife, also of Chambersburg, was crossing Coffey Avenue and was in a crosswalk when Osterman’s vehicle hit him, police said.

He was flown to York Hospital and was listed in critical condition.
