A Hanover man was arrested Friday on charges he was sharing child pornography over the Internet.

Michael Dehoff, 28, is charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography, 18 counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, Attorney General Kathleen Kane said in a news release.

Dehoff was arrested after agents identified a computer on a peer-to-peer network that was sharing numerous media files believed to depict child pornography.

According to the criminal complaint, the agents successfully downloaded 18 files that depicted children engaged in graphic sexual acts and or poses.

The IP address of the computer making the files available was later identified as one in Dehoff’s home, the complaint states.
