Police investigating a series of incidents where bullets were fired into homes and vehicles in southern Lancaster County have another on their list, bringing the total to at least 10 in eight days.
Two males in a white Dodge Ram pickup truck apparently shot into a Providence Township home Tuesday night, state police in Lancaster said.
The bullet traveled through a wall, a child’s room and a door before lodging into another wall in the 500 block of Clearfield Road around 8:30 p.m.
The Dodge had tinted windows and a Pennsylvania license plate, police said.
A week earlier, on April 29, someone fired a bullet that went through a window and struck a ceiling beam at a home in the 100 block of Main Street in New Providence.
The following night, a bullet pierced the passenger-side door of a 2013 BMW sedan traveling on Route 272 in Drumore Township, in the area of Deaver Road. Police said a pickup truck was seen on Deaver Road at the time of the incident.
At least seven other incidents where bullets were fired into occupied and unoccupied vehicles, homes and buildings have been reported in the southern part of the county since April 29.
