Lancaster man waives hearing in wife’s fatal stabbing

A Lancaster County man charged with criminal homicide in the stabbing death of his wife, a mother of five children, is headed to trial.

Carrington Kevon Joseph, 27, waived his preliminary hearing Thursday and allowed the case to continue in Lancaster County court.

A formal arraignment was scheduled June 13.

Joseph remains in the county prison without bail in Friday’s death of 27-year-old Melissa Joseph in Manheim Township.

She died at Lancaster General Hospital after she was stabbed multiple times at the family’s home in the 500 block of Sterling Place.

Police said they found the couple’s infant twins covered in blood but unharmed. Three other children were at school.
