PennDOT wants to warn motorists of scheduled work on Route 30 at the end of Lancaster County next week that will cause single lane traffic restrictions.
Starting around 7 a.m. Monday, PennDOT crews will be repairing rough pavement conditions on Route 30 eastbound between the Susquehanna River and Prospect Road in West Hempfield Township.
The work will continue until approximately 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
When crews are finished the eastbound repairs they will move to the westbound direction.
Motorists are advised to be alert and to allow additional time in their travel plans or seek alternate routes in order to avoid delays.
PennDOT also asks motorists to slow down when approaching and traveling through the work zone, for their safety as well as for the safety of the work crews.
