Digital renovations are underway at the iconic West Shore Theatre in New Cumberland.

The movie theatre built in 1939 must install digital projectors since very few Hollywood movies are distributed on film anymore.

The upgrade will cost the owners $120,000.

They're looking to the community for help, and so far have raised $19,000.

The theatre will be temporarily closed for two weeks during the digital conversion.
