Police: Suspicious men in van approached children

Police are investigating an incident where two men in a van approached elementary-aged children playing in their York County driveway.

York Area Regional police said the men asked the two children a question before an older sibling intervened and took the children inside their home.

The incident occurred Tuesday at around 6 p.m. in the Royal Manor development of Windsor Township.

The children were not injured.

Police said the vehicle was described as a green, dirty, beat up, work-type van.

The driver was a white man, about 60 years old, who had a beard. No description of his passenger was available.

Police said the van has been seen before in the neighborhood.
