A Dover man was arrested after police in suburban Harrisburg said they found a stolen handgun in his car.
Kameron Edward Orr, 22, has been charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license, Susquehanna Township police said.
Police said they were responding to another call Monday when an officer came upon a car parked in the 3700 block of Logan Alley with a man and woman in the backseat.
The officer investigated and detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana in the car, according to police.
Police said Orr refused to give permission to search the car, so the vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was obtained.
The stolen 9mm handgun was found, along with two loaded ammunition magazines and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Orr was taken into custody and placed in Dauphin County Prison on $350,000 bail.
