Steelton police and the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office are renewing their call for information in the homicide of a borough woman more than seven years ago.
Beulah G. Lawson was 79 years old when she was strangled to death in a detached garage behind her home at 592 Lincoln Street on Oct. 22, 2006.
Her garage, car and home were
purposely set on fire, apparently in an attempt to conceal and destroy evidence, according to investigators.
Investigators are looking for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000.
