A Lancaster woman died after a two-vehicle crash Thursday night in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.
Township police said 71-year-old Sharon M. Mulhatten was driving a 1978 Chevrolet Caprice that was struck nearly head-on in the 1800 block of Old Philadelphia Pike around 8:20 p.m.
She was pronounced dead at Lancaster General Hospital.
A passenger in her car, 51-year-old Troy M. Mulhatten of Ronks, was listed in serious condition at the hospital, police said.
Police said the other driver, 40-year-old Patricia J. Halgash of Reinholds, veered into Mulhatten's path after striking the right curb at the intersection of Chateau Hill.
She was transported to Lancaster General and was treated for non-life
threatening injuries and released, police said.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with
