A Dallastown man has been arrested for his role in a daylight burglary that was interrupted by the home owner, according to police.
Shawn Davis, 32, has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and receiving stolen property, Northern York County Regional police said.
Police said a second suspect has been identified, but has not yet been charged.
The burglary occurred Jan. 30 in the 800 block of Lefever Road in Jackson Township.
The home owner reported that he was in the basement when he heard people walking around on the first floor, police said.
He found an intruder rummaging through a dresser drawer in the bedroom, and when he yelled the burglar called out to a second person, police said.
Both fled in a blue Cadillac that was parked in the driveway, but not before stealing jewelry from the home, according to police.
