More repair work is scheduled this weekend on Interstate 83 in York County.
The left lane of I-83 will be closed in both directions in the vicinity of Loucks Mill Road, between exits 19 and 21 just north of York, starting at around 9 p.m. Friday, according to a PennDOT news release.
Construction crews will make repairs to the concrete decks of the bridges over Codorus Creek, Loucks Mill Road, and the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks.
The crews will also replace expansion joints in the bridge deck over Loucks Mill Road.
PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny said the work should be completed by the end of Saturday, but may be finished earlier, perhaps by noon.
If the repairs are not completed on Saturday, Penny said the construction crews plan to return next weekend.
