Carlisle police said they have identified one of two men wanted for a shooting that injured a teenage girl last month.

Police said they are looking for 19-year-old Robert Stephone Gilmore and have an arrest warrant charging him with attempted murder, conspiracy, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession of a firearm.

Gilmore is originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. and may have fled there after the Feb. 13 shooting in the first block of W. Pomfret Street, police said.

The second shooter has not been identified.

A bullet struck the 16-year-old girl in the head when multiple shots were fired outside the Buzz Express at 39 W. Pomfret. She was released from a hospital last month.

Police have said she was not involved in the shooting, and she was not the intended target of the gunmen.

Another person was grazed by a bullet in the arm, but was not seriously injured.

Police said they searched a home at 114 S. West Street in the morning after receiving information that Gilmore may have been staying there.

The officers didn't find Gilmore, but they arrested 20-year-old Morgan Leigh Frombaugh for possession of marijuana and forgery, police said.

Anyone with information on Gilmore's whereabouts or the identity of the second shooter is asked to call Carlisle police at 717-243-5252.
