Charges have been filed against two juveniles following a threat made against Cedar Crest High School, according to the district superintendent.
Cornwall-Lebanon superintendent Philip Domencic said South Lebanon Township police are investigating the threat reported to administrators late in the school day Thursday.
Police have told administrators that additional charges may be filed, but school officials are confident that no other individuals are involved, Domencic said in a statement.
Domencic said the threat was not associated with any recent false alarms at other buildings in the district, or with a medical emergency at the high school Thursday.
While there was no threat made to a pep assembly scheduled Friday, the event was canceled due to the heightened sense of security, Domencic said.
He said police are present on the campus as a reassurance to students and staff.
