York police seek suspect in bar shooting

York police have released surveillance photos of a suspect in a shooting that injured two people at a city bar early Thursday.

Police are trying to identify the suspect, and Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a reward to anyone who may recognize him.

The shooting occurred at Norman's Place at the corner of East College and Edgar avenues at around 12:30 a.m.

Police said two men were injured and taken to York Hospital. They were identified as 29-year-old Quran Brown and 32-year-old Norman Turpin.

A woman inside the bar said the gunman opened the door and started shooting at people inside.

Callers can remain anonymous when they contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS or visit pacrimestoppers.org.
