It's against the rules, but Lebanon residents who reserved their parking spots with chairs and other items over the past several weeks are getting off with a friendly reminder.
Instead of handing out tickets, the city says crews will collect any items that are obstructing
parking spaces and toss them out with the trash, starting Friday.
A Lebanon ordinance says no person
shall place any obstruction of any type upon the pavement, sidewalk,
curb or gutter which will interfere with the complete and full use, at
all times for the public of such pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter.
Residents are asked to remove their stuff before the cleanup begins.
