Police report 2nd burglary of vacant Lemoyne house

Police are investigating the second burglary of a vacant house in Lemoyne in a week.

Shore Regional police said someone forcibly entered a house in the 600 block of Bosler Avenue and removed all the
copper piping in the basement.

The burglary was reported Thursday.

Police said the home had been listed for sale.

The first incident occurred in the 800 Block of Hummel Avenue in
Lemoyne was reported February 20.

Police said that home had been forcibly entered through a rear door sometime since February 6, and a small
quantity of  copper pipe was removed from the
furnace and water supply system in the basement.

Officers urged residents to keep an eye on each other's property and to be vigilant about their surroundings.
