Riders will experience a 90-degree free fall from 98 feet on a new roller coaster coming to Knoebels Amusement Resort.
Knoebels said in a news release on its Facebook page Friday that the coaster, named “Knoebels Impulse,” will have three eight-rider vehicles that will reach speeds of up to 56 mph.
The coaster will also take riders through a cobra roll, a helix and an immelman; a half loop followed by a half roll.
Riders will be seated in two rows of four facing forward, with the back row seats elevated above the front row seats, according to the news release.
Knoebels said the bumper boats and boat tag will be removed to make space for the ride, which is scheduled to open next year.
