Carlisle police are trying to identify a woman who fled a home burglary after she was caught in the act.
Police said the woman went into a home in the 500 block of Franklin Street and was confronted Saturday afternoon by a neighbor who was watching over the residence.
A composite sketch of the burglar was released Friday so that someone may identify her.
Police said she's 30 to 40 years old, about 5'8″ tall, 120 lbs., and has very pale skin.
She was wearing knee-high rubber boots, a light blue down ski coat, a dark blue knit hat, and a red scarf.
The victim was out of town and is compiling a list of items that were stolen, police said.
