Three Lebanon men have been charged with criminal homicide for a shooting death in the city last summer, police announced Friday.
Police accuse David Rivera, 35, and Jorge Roque Jr., 26, and Jones Torres-Cintron, 23, in the killing of 33-year-old Juan Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, also of Lebanon, died after he was shot several times on the night of Aug. 3 in the area of Mifflin Street just east of 9th Street.
Authorities said they believe Rivera fired the fatal shots and Roque drove the vehicle used in the shooting, while Torres was a passenger.
The motive was a debt of an undetermined amount, police said.
In addition to criminal homicide, Rivera was charged Friday with criminal conspiracy to commit homicide, perjury, tampering with evidence, and firearms violations. He is being held in Lebanon County Prison without bail.
Roque was arraigned Feb. 11 on the same counts, as well as obstruction and hindering apprehension. He is also being held without bail.
Torres is still at large.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Lebanon police at 717-272-6611 or Lebanon County Crime Stoppers at 717-270-9800.
