Carlisle police have released photographs that may lead to arrests in the shooting of a teenage girl.
Police said they are positive the men pictured in the photos are suspects in the shooting Thursday afternoon in the first block of W. Pomfret Street, based on interviews and witness accounts.
The photos were taken by the borough's surveillance camera system.
Police also said Friday that the teen girl who was shot in the head outside a store was able to escape serious injury, and she has been released from a hospital in good condition. Her mother spoke with abc27; she is thankful her 16-year-old daughter is alive.
“I hope that no other parent has to go through something like this,” Jennifer Christopher said.
Authorities said the teen was not involved in the shooting, and she was not the intended target of the gunmen.
Multiple shots were fired during the incident at around 3 p.m. Another female was grazed by a bullet in the arm, but was not seriously injured.
