Amtrak service between Philadelphia and Harrisburg will remain suspended, at least through Thursday morning, while crews continue to clean up from Thursday's snow and ice storm.
The clean-up has been slowed by additional trees that fell onto the tracks and into electrical wires in numerous locations overnight, according to a statement on Amtrak's website.
Amtrak reported at least 45 trees fell along the route Wednesday morning.
Efforts continue to restore service as soon as possible continue.
An update is expected late Thursday morning.
