Emergency crews rushed a Lebanon man to the hospital after he was shot in the face Friday night.
Police were called to a second floor apartment on the 400 block of 9th street at 5:03 p.m.
When they arrived, investigators found 20-year-old Jose Luzon with a gunshot wound to the face.
Police say Luzon was receiving emergency medical care at a local hospital Friday night, but they did not know his condition.
Investigators say there were several people in the apartment when the gun went off, but the shooter was gone before police arrived.
Penny Walker lives three doors down from the incident.
She says the block is known for drug activity.
“I'm surprised by not shocked, because there is a lot of drug traffic in this area,” Walker said. “I have never been exposed to it. They pretty much keep to themselves but you can see what's going on around you.”
Lebanon city police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 717-272-6611.
