Last year's Great American Outdoor show was canceled after a weapons ban. This year the National Rifle Association is running the event.
Pennsylvania residents can buy a gun from a vendor and go to a local shop and pick it up. Out-of-state residents can make a purchase here, and the vendor will ship it to their local dealer.
Last season's cancellation had a nearly $90 million impact on the region. Local vendors and businesses took a big financial loss.
Keith Baughman is from Chambersburg, and he runs an outdoor apparel business. Baughman says they always rely on foot traffic and orders from the show. He said they lost a lot of money and future business after last year's event was canceled.
The Great American Outdoor show runs through Sunday, February 9.
