A 19-year-old man was arrested after police said he fled the scene of a pedestrian crash in a high school parking lot.

According to officials, a 17-year-old man was safely walking into the parking lot of Williams Valley High School on Tuesday at around 8:45 p.m. when driver Dominic Mercuri, 19, struck him.
