2 arrested for thefts from vehicles in Shippensburg

Shippensburg police said they recovered many stolen items from two men arrested for thefts from vehicles early Wednesday.

Dylan Shuman, 22, of Shippensburg, and Christopher Clark, 22, no fixed address, were taken into custody at the Chateau Terrace apartments in the 300 block of N. Fayette Street, where they were seen approaching multiple vehicles, police said in a news release.

Anyone who had items missing or stolen from their vehicle, or had their vehicle ransacked, should call Shippensburg police at 717-532-7361 to file a report.

Shuman and Clark were charged with theft from motor vehicles, criminal conspiracy, and loitering and prowling at night.

Shuman was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and institutional vandalism for intentionally urinating on the holding cell of the police station after using racial and sexual slurs directed at the officers, police said.
