Officials are concerned that a sinkhole in West Manchester Township, York County could grow even bigger.
The sinkhole, which is around 3 feet wide, opened up in the front yard of a home in the 3100 block of West Market street Friday night. Crews had to shut off water to the home.
Officials are not sure how deep the hole is, and there was initial concern that the sinkhole was near a gas line.
However a first responder told abc27 that the line may be far enough away to ease concerns.
Recent rain may cause the sinkhole to grow even bigger.
