The Pennsylvania National Guard is alerting people who live near Fort
Indiantown Gap that it will begin five days of live-fire artillery exercises this weekend.
Area residents may notice increased noise during the exercise, which will take place between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14.
The live-fire exercises, which use 105- and 155-millimeter artillery, are announced in advance as a courtesy to nearby residents.
