A paving operation may affect the Thursday morning commute for drivers using Route 11 in the area of Interstate 81 Exit 3 in Franklin County.
PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny said the paving operation will begin at 7 a.m. and continue all day.
Flaggers will assist drivers through the work area.
The paving had been limited to the hours between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. so that it would not interfere with busy commuters, but Penny said the paving deadline is approaching and PennDOT granted the contractor earlier start in order to complete the work.
He said drivers should allow additional time for traveling or seek an alternate route to avoid a delay.
