An 18-year-old suburban Harrisburg man has been arrested for stealing from vehicles in Susquehanna Township.
Daquan Ellison, of Lower Paxton Township, is accused of several incidents that occurred between Aug. 15 and Sept. 17, police said.
Susquehanna Township police said they had received several reports of money and electronics being stolen from unlocked
vehicles during the nighttime hours in the Latchmere, Green
Acres and South Progress areas.
After he was arrested by Penbrook
police for similar crimes, police said they interviewed
Ellison and he
admitted to entering unlocked cars and taking property.
He was charged with five counts of theft from motor vehicles and sent to Dauphin County Prison on $5,000 cash bail.
Penbrook police charged him last week with three counts of theft from motor vehicles. They said he entered at least two vehicles and attempted to enter several more.
