Lebanon police are investigating an incident where a woman said she was hit in the face when she refused to give in to an armed robber.
The woman told officers she was seated in a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of Brandywine Street when a young man pounded on her window and demanded her purse late Wednesday, police said.
She said she opened the car door and saw a gun in the robber's hand, but still refused his demand for her purse, police said.
He struck her but fled south on 12th Street after she kicked at him, police said.
She said the robber was in his late teens or early 20's, with a smaller build, and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark bandanna over his face.
