Harrisburg police are on the hunt for the thief who robbed a city gas station Saturday afternoon.
Officers said the robbery happened just before 1:00 p.m. at the Hess gas station convenience store on the corner of Market Street and Cameron Street in Harrisburg.
Police said the robber took an unknown amount of cash and ran away from the store. Investigators said the thief did not use a weapon and no one was injured during the robbery.
The convenience store is where one of the Harrisburg police substations is located. It is the city's fifth and newest substation, where officers can go to do paperwork if an incident happens nearby.
Despite the fact that the convenience store has a police substation, the robber was still brazen enough to strike in broad daylight.
Police have a description of the thief. They said the robber is a man in his 40s or 50s, about six feet tall, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, and is missing several teeth.
If you see someone who matches that description or have any information about the robbery, you should call Harrisburg police at (717) 255-3131.
