York man charged with impersonating FBI agent

Federal prosecutors have announced charges against a York man who allegedly impersonated an FBI agent.

Brandon H. Schnetzka, 40, claimed he was a special agent when he tried to get a loaner vehicle from a Mechanicsburg auto dealer in March, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Schnetzka was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury in Harrisburg.

The indictment charges him with one count of impersonating an officer or employee of the United States.
