Man accused of offering teens money for sex acts waives hearing

An Annville man is headed to trial on charges he offered money to teen boys in exchange for sexual acts.

Christopher Michael Kettering, 22, waived his preliminary hearing before a district judge Thursday and allowed the 12 counts against his to proceed to Lebanon County Court.

Kettering has been charged with four felony counts of encouraging prostitution and two counts each of unlawful contact with minors, attempted patronizing of prostitution, corruption of minors and harassment.

Palmyra police have said his arrest was in connection with an incident which occurred the evening of July 6 in the 600 block of E. Arch Street.

They allege that Kettering approached two 16-year-old boys and offered them money in exchange for the performance of a sex act.
