Helmeted gunman jumped bank counter in robbery

An armed robber was wearing a motorcycle helmet when he jumped the counter of a Lebanon County bank Friday afternoon.

North Lebanon Township police said the gunman was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Fulton Bank at 1333 E. Lehman Street before making his getaway on a black mountain bike at around 3:23 p.m.

Police said he was armed with a silver handgun, and wore a black and white bandanna over
his face and under the helmet.

He also wore a black long sleeve shirt, black jeans, and black boots, police said.

A pregnant woman who was inside the bank during the robbery suffered an anxiety
attack, and EMS was dispatched for an precautionary evaluation, police said.

No
other injuries were reported.
