A district judge has dismissed the most serious sexual abuse charges against a Lancaster County pharmacist.
Stephen Wiley, 60, of Lancaster, was held for court on seven misdemeanor charges at his preliminary hearing Friday, but District Judge Brian Chudzik dismissed seven felony counts, according to court documents.
Wiley is scheduled for a formal arraignment September 13 on misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors and indecent assault.
The charges that were dismissed are one count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, two counts of unlawful contact with a minor, and four counts of statutory sexual assault.
Wiley, the former president of Wiley's Pharmacies, was
charged last month with crimes against four boys, ages 15 to 17, between
1998 and 2012.
Charges stemming from allegations made by three of his four accusers were withdrawn Wednesday.
