A 31-year-old man and a juvenile were arrested after police found 28 packs of heroin in a vehicle during an aggressive driver detail on Route 30.
On Friday, Columbia Borough Police conducted an aggressive driver detail on Route 30 eastbound at the Route 441 overpass.
Officers stopped a silver 2012 Mazda sedan traveling 82 miles per hour in a 55 zone. Police discovered the car was stolen on July 14 in Montgomery County.
The driver, 31-year-old Jose Roman Lopez (last known address in York), was taken into custody. Officials found 28 packs of heroin in the vehicle.
He was charged with receiving stolen property, possession with intent to deliver heroin and maximum speed limits.
A juvenile passenger was found in possession of a loaded .45 caliber automatic handgun in his waistband and 8 packs of heroin. The handgun was reported stolen by the York City Police Department.
The juvenile was charged with possession of a firearm by a minor, receiving stolen property and possession with intent to deliver heroin.
