A Maryland man has been arrested for three home burglaries and an attempted break-in at a fourth house in Lancaster County.
State police in Lancaster said they charged 53-year-old George V. Green, of Laurel, on Wednesday with three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, theft, and related crimes.
Green is accused of entering homes in the 700 and 800 blocks of Bellevue Avenue in Gap during the overnight hours between March 1-2. He allegedly stole money while the occupants were asleep.
He was already jailed in a New Jersey prison for unrelated offenses when the charges were filed.
