A man wanted for attempted murder in South Carolina has been arrested in York County.
The U.S. Marshal's Service said it took 35-year old Nicholas Adams into custody Wednesday morning at a home on East South Street in Franklintown.
Adams was being sought by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office on charges of attempted murder and assault stemming from a choking incident that allegedly occurred between Adams and two victims, including a minor.
Adams was turned over to the Pennsylvania State Police for processing. He is awaiting a court hearing concerning his extradition to South Carolina.
