Harrisburg police said they need help identifying a man suspected in the armed holdup of a Rite Aid store where the robber demanded cash from workers at the loading dock, not the cash registers.

Police on Friday released surveillance photos from the Rite Aid at 2103 N. 3rd Street, where the robbery occurred at around 6 a.m. Saturday.

Three employees told officers that they had just unloaded a truck at the loading dock when the robber confronted them while holding a handgun. He demanded all the cash from the registers, but the workers told him they didn't have access to the money, police said.

The robber then
demanded all the Newport cigarettes. He took about 15 cartons of
Newport cigarettes and fled, police said.

None of the employees were harmed.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Harrisburg police at 717-255-3118 or 717-255-3114.
